Deadshoto’s Mod 16 B.A.R.B.I.E. DPS build (W.I.P.)
Deadshoto
Reason why i choose Charisma over Dexterity is because Charisma gives you Companion influence and a little of recharge speed, which is way better than some severity and movement speed from dexterity.
Powers/feats:
Feats we are going to use are: Relentless Speed, Bloodspiller, Overpenetration, Steel Slam and Relentless Battlerage.
Reason why you’re going to use Not so fast:
Click on me
As you can see it procs like crazy, and you just need to get one reset to make it better than punishing charge + it does refresh your trample the fallen everytime you use it.
Passives are steel blitz and trample the fallen.
Encounters:
Not So Fast
Indomitable Battle Strike
Bloodletter
Atwills:
Sure Strike
Relentless Strike
Dailies:
Savage Advance
Avalanche of Steel
Consumables
Watermelon Sorbet OR Major or superior flask of potency, wild storm elixir, squash/pumpkin soup and m15 3% damage potion which you can get from swag bags from campaign(Acquisitions incorporated) store.
Also you can use one of these: Tymora coin, Chain of scales or pocket pet. I prefer to use chain of scales, you can get additional critical severity from it.
With mod 16 changes you’re going to use companions that add stats you don’t have capped yet, in any other case go with power ones.
Current best summoned companion is bulette pup due to it’s increased power stat(and some others of course). The reason why I don’t have it yet is because I’m too poor to buy one right now, so I’m sticking with my mod 8 ioun 🙂
Noncombat:
In combat with tenser:
Stats you’re going to get before you start stacking power are:
118k CA to get 100% bonus when you have combat advantage
68k Critical Strike to get 50% crit chance(max)
70,5k Armor Penetration (2,5k more due to our overpenetration feat)
68k accuracy
If you catch them all you can start stacking your power in any possible way.
You can find some usefull things like caps for each level, most companion stats and a lot of other things.
you should stack crit sev potions ontop of the empowered chain for more crit sev, 3 potions wild storm elixir, squash soup and Flasks of potency
For what? Flask of potency is 7,5% crit severity, with my current severity and CA bonus that will result in about 1,13% damage increase, it’s way lower than power you’re getting from watermelon sorbet
Any chance of including what Enchants you use on your person and on your Companion gear?
Defense: full radiants
Offense: full radiants/ some assassin’s if you’re lacking on ca
utility: 1x quartermaster, 1x fey blessing, 1x dragon hoard, 2x dark
pet: 3x Empowered runestone, 3x Enigmatic runestone
Interesting. Is there a reason for not using Barbed Strikes (30% crit severity) ?
Are you using those encounters on all mobs or just in specific fights?
Depends how much critical severity and combat advantage you have. Barbed strikes give additional 25 so I’m at about 240%, which means that 25% give me about 4% damage, so if steel blitz can make more than 4% of your total damage it’s better.( It does about 8-9% of my damage). And yeah, it’s setup for both aoe and st.
Hell yes, MOD 16 drops in less then a week and I’m super grateful for your guidance and builds man. Good to see you have this and I’m sure it will help out tremendously.
Thanks man!!!
That’s why I’m here 😀 If you have any questions just ask, I’ll try to reply within my limits
I seen that you listed your enchants in previous comments, can you give me a heads up on what the BIS armor or weapon enchant is?
Vorpal, about armor don’t know, elven battle or barkshield I think
What about gear? Is it the same as mod 15?
If you click on the about tab he has his listed gear.
What equipment are you using? It seems to me that chest, feet and arms its still old chultan equipment and head still Gallant. Is that correct? What do you use on shirts and trousers?
hi whats the stats if you dont mind me asking
Stats of what? Caps? 118k ca, 68k crit and accuracy, 70,5 armor penetration. If my overall stats, you can find it in the build on screens, bis toon could reach about 190k power.
hi i know this a big ask but can u list the name of each mount and the 3 insignia’s u have in each 🙂 i really struggle with that part of builds and i dont spell or read to good so it can be really hard to find what im looking for 🙂
Well, I can give you names of mounts, but note that they aren’t cheapest versions for each insignia bonus, u can find way cheaper ones with same bonus. Apparatus of kwalish, tenser’s floating disc, swarm, gorgon and rage Drake, but this special one, don’t remember exact name.
nice 1 i have tensers and rage drake and i found a list on mmominds that shows all mounts and the bonuses they can give and iv got like 2 bags with all the diffrant insignia with all that i can easy see what mounts and stats i can get from it all before i go for epic or legend insignias big thanks great build to 🙂
Great guide. Thanks. As a new level 80 player that finished Undermountain, the max’d stats are SO far away… Where would you suggest I prioritize farming for upgrades?
Bonding runestones and runestones on companion gear. These are the priority to reach the cap and being more powerful. After this, bring your Augment companion to legendary rank to have more stat and balance. Everything else come after companion’s stuff
Since m14 they’re killing every way of making money one by one, only things left to do in m16 are random queues, farming lomm which you probably can’t do at current stage of the game, and getting lucky with master expedition chests, or just by getting sth good from vip key
What about weapon and knot modification??
It’s usefull for main-hand empower the at-will you usually use. For the off-hand go Power or CA
Power, crit severity and sure strike
